In the home health field the hiring process can be very difficult. The bold print shows some of the things that most agencies go through during the process of hiring.

· "Personal Care: bathing, eating, dressing, toileting
· Household Care: cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping
· Health Care: medication management, physician's appointments, physical therap
· Emotional Care: companionship, meaningful activities, conversation"(http://www.caregiver.org).

. DurinThe following are to test the weakness and strength that you haveg the hiring process agencies are checking to see are you allegeable for becoming a home health care nurse. It’s important to be prepared for the questions you may get asked. No one wants to walk into an interview unprepared for what’s in store. So study for the following questions.

Ø  How do you feel about caring for a disabled person?

Ø  How would you handle people who are angry, stubborn, and fearful

Ø  Are you willing to change urine, bathe them, and cook for them

“Through this process, we can distinguish between candidates who are simply looking for work and those who have a passion for elder care and understand how to deal with clients’ frailties with compassion”  (http://www.healthpeople.com  ).
